That second picture was taken during the filming of "The Hippie Temptation" news program in the Panhandle circa Christmas season 1966 according to Harry Reasoner's commentary during the documentary.

Dan, you're right. I just checked that out. At 3:40 into the YouTube clip, the camera goes in tight while they're playin' Dancin' in the Street. Jer is wearing those stripes, Bob has the hat on, and Phil has that hair-doo.

Thanks Mr. Tell — I will treasure this gem

Yep--there is something special in that look of hers; the eyes are both penetrating and soothing; without gushing too much, I'd say she's disarming while comforting...

You don't see it often. Not that I am giving up on Miss D, but seriously, it is an artistic gem. She comes out in the other one too. I don't know about anything else but those two shots, and it's somehow enough.

Might just be me...

i must agree Mr.Tell. That is my fav pic of MG . Soothing yet disarming, it would be both a joy and apleasure and the scare of a lifetime to meet her.

Never seen that mystery pic b4. I'm depending on you guys. Rasta was pointing to CM's MySpace page. When I looked there, after paging down, I found this pic. So CM has it posted on his MySpace page, "What show is this?"

There was a "pic" torrent at LL recently: zillions of GD photos — I've only looked at a few just now. I have soooooooo much stuff, just like most of you. Thanks everyone.

Could be anybody, but I'm thinking that's a young Buddy Cage or Dave Torbert. Just a guess.
